George Rigden – nominated for Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year

We are very pleased to announce that George RigdenGeorge 2_photo by steve ullathorne (2) has been nominated for the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Award, with the final taking place as part of the Leicester Comedy Festival on the 25th February.

The prestigious award is now in its 23rd year, with previous winners including Josh Widdicombe, Johnny Vegas, Jason Manford, Seann Walsh and Rhod Gilbert. More information on the show can be found here.

Bennett Arron Worries About…

We are very pleased to say that Bennett Arron has just been commissioned for a third series on BBC Wales, with “Bennett Arron Worries About..”.

In the show he discusses all the things which worry him and make him anxious from going to the doctors to the legal system. He had a second series air earlier this year in July, you can listen to a clip here. His third series will be on air and iPlayer later in 2017.

Hattie on University Challange

 

On the 20th university_challenge_tv_cardDecember Hattie Hayridge will be taking part in a Christmas celebrity special of “University Challenge”. She will appear in the second episode of the series, representing Sussex Uni alongside Dermot Murnaghan, they will be competing against Kent Uni, represented by Paul Ross, Shiulie Ghosh. First rounds continue until the 26th December before moving into the Semi Finals, so fingers crossed! Click here for more details.
