Mark Stephenson has been nonchalantly taking the comedy circuit by storm, quietly collecting accolades and attracting a fierce cult following.
His distinctive comic voice delivers dry, obliquely witty observations and anecdotes, often paired with a delightfully whimsical edge. Mark has audiences eating out of his hand.
Mark recently starred in short film, “Hatchlings – Alan’s Story” alongside Harriet Kemsley and directed by Stuart Laws for Turtle Canyon Comedy. He also finished a run at The Edinburgh Festival 2013 to excellent reviews. Mark also wrote, directed and starred in his own comedy short, “The Weekend Warriors” with up and coming production company, Turtle Canyon.
Mark’s 2015 solo show, entitled ‘Amsterdam’ was nominated for Best Debut Show at Dave’s Leicester Comedy Festival and went on to a successful Edinburgh Festival run where it was recommended by Time Out and Laugh Out London.
