Devastatingly original character comedy duo Róisín and Chiara are ‘a pair of improvising geniuses’ and Ones to Watch 2016 (Funny Women).
Trained at LISPA (Lecoq pedagogy) and formed in 2012 the duo play with a mixture of highly precise choreographed delivery, surreal tangents and daring interaction.
They took their debut Edinburgh show up to the fringe in 2016, receiving four and five-star reviews, they are following up this success with their new show “We are Not Afraid” for 2017.
Róisín and Chiara were chosen by Vice Magazine to represent the best of female comedy talent along with Beard, LetLuce and Twisted Loaf as well as recently being commissioned by the BBC to make a short all about the magic of JAZZ for the BBC’s online channel.
In London they run a monthly comedy residency ‘Charmy Swine’ at Aces and Eights comedy club. Acts recently included Spencer Jones, Mae Martin, Brian Gittins and John Kearns. You can also often see them gigging around London, in the regions and at festivals.
They are both accomplished actress’ as individuals, work with award winning Spanish theatre company Teatro Envilo and are currently touring Europe with new show ‘Generation Why’ and recently playing monsters in ITV’s ‘Jekyll and Hyde’.
