About Rosie

Rosie trained as an actor at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and worked as an actor for 6 years before writing her first sketch comedy show with Sullivan Brown as part of double act Grubby Little Mitts. The show went on to win The Amused Moose Comedy Award in 2022.

Rosie has performed at Soho Theatre, Glasgow Comedy Festival, the Leicester Comedy Festival Preview Gala at De Montfort Hall and for three consecutive years at the Edinburgh Fringe.

She is a regular cast member on the popular YouTube show No Rolls Barred, for whom she is Associate Producer and the designer of their home studio in Hackney Wick. Rosie directed two seasons of the live-action play through series No Rolls Barred plays…Blood On The Clocktower which has currently over a million views online for the six-episode Season Two; Further directing credits include the WrestleTalk News Rebrand Saga, Chokeslam(Ed Fringe), a series of online sketch comedy and short films for Hog the Dog Productions, season one of CutScene (Trident Digital Media), as well as dramaturging the BFI funded short film Ajaao written and directed by Maanuv Thiara. Rosie offers a free script feedback scheme to state-educated writers, and she produces (and hosts) the WIP sketch comedy night Sketch Book at the Rosemary Branch Theatre, a bi-monthly show with a cast of alternative comedy’s freshest acts. Sketch Book promotes a healthy environment for the trialing of new work in sketch, character, musical and clown acts, with a series of low-cost workshops in sketch writing, improv, script development and comedy producing, all in the works for 2025.
