About Roxy
Roxy is a Writer/Performer and graduate of the BBC Comedy Room 2019. As an actor, she’s been cast in multiple BBC comedies and was a series regular in Channel 4’s Babylon, directed by Danny Boyle. Her comedy pilot,Joz and Roxy are Useless Millennialsrecently aired on BBC Radio 4 and prior to this, she had projects in development with Merman, was optioned by Hartswood Films, and wrote on the BBC Radio Wales show,The Leak. She and her comedy partner have taken two critically acclaimed shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, transferring to SOHO Theatre and their short filmHabits was awarded Runner Up in the final of the Funny Women/Comedy Central UK Awards. Roxy’s playTIMMY was shortlisted for the Channel 4/Oran Mor Comedy Drama Award and she’s since developed it into awebserieswhich has been selected to screen at both the LA Comedy Film Festival and LA Indie Film Festival. She’s also a published poet.
