About Katia

Katia Kvinge is an award winning comedian, actor and impressionist. As seen on BBC, C4, Comedy Central, ITV, MTV and Netflix.

After graduating with a Degree in Fine Art from Edinburgh University she trained in Acting & Clown at Gaulier. She recently completed improv training at The Second City, Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB). She has recently trained in Movement, Voice and Contemporary Text at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). She performs in the London and Los Angeles comedy circuits and has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival between 2009-2025.

In 2009 she performed in the show ‘Idiots of Ants’ which was Nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award, she then performed in student sketch shows with the Edinburgh Revue and more recently in her sell out five star solo shows ‘Karacters’, ‘140 Karakters’ and ‘Squirrel’. Featuring in Vanity Fair and Edinburgh Festival Magazines as ‘One to watch’.

She regularly writes, performs and creates comedy content for BBC online with her videos receiving over 25 million views. Katia recently starred as the lead in ITV's ‘Deep Fake Neighbour Wars’ where she was cast to play 10 characters in the one series, she was also one of the lead roles in the Feature Film ‘Ashens and the Polybius Heist’ (100% on Rotten Tomatoes), ‘Pls Like’ on BBC and ‘Feel Good’ on Netflix. She is currently developing TV & online digital scripts with BBC, ITV & Channel 4

Katia can act, sing, dance, do stand up, impressions, character and improvised comedy . She is also fluent in Norwegian and can also speak Spanish, French & German.
