About Nathan

Nathan D’Arcy Roberts is an award-winning writer and comedian. An exciting and authentic act with a distinct comedic voice, Nathan has been twice nominated for the BBC New Comedy Award, and in 2018 won the BBC’s prestigious Felix Dexter bursary.

Nathan is a versatile writer with experience across film, TV, and radio. His credits include Trying(Apple TV), Quickies, Famalam(BBC Three), The Lenny Henry Show, Too Hot To Handle (Netflix), Horrible Histories,The Now Show, The News Quiz(BBC Radio 4) and Newsjack(BBC Radio 4 Extra).

Nathan has written several successful short films. His last was well-received by audiences all over the world, won Best Film at the 48-Hour Sci-Fi competition, and screened at the London Short Film Festival. His Sky Short Lemons is due for release in early 2023 and he has just finished his BFI supported short film Blind Spot, starring Ben Bailey Smith.

After performing his debut hour at the Soho Theatre, Nathan is working on his next show alongside a slate of scripted projects.
